On this haircut, I used enhancements on the hairline to create more contrast between the line and fade. This client gets red easily, so I was careful of his skin and cooled it down with witch hazel throughout the cut. This is a mid taper with a brush back. Some people say asian hair is difficult to cut. It can be, because of the way it sticks straight out. Mistakes become easy to spot. But if your hand is disciplined, use your comb a lot, and check your work from every angle, you can get it sculpted. This cut has no paint It is a clean and natural haircut that fits the client's facial structure with an enhanced look. This is possible through a detailed blend and careful sculpture of the clients hair. One must pay close attention to a clients density, texture, growth pattern, etc. in order to achieve this cut. I shaped his eyebrows and his mustache. When approaching men's eyebrows, I leave the shape pretty natural and avoid pushing it back. Usually, not much hair needs to be taken off. Careful precision is needed. This is to keep a clean and groomed look while keeping the eyebrows masculine. I did not use paint on this cut. He originally had long hair that was styled in a slick back, so we took it down little by little as we buzzed his hair. The length shown is the extent of how short he was willing to go. I blended out the c-cups (or the hooks) on this cut to make his hairline pop out more. This creates more contrast between the bottom of the fade and the side bars of the hairline, making the hairline more crispy. I used paint on this haircut, resulting in a sharp finish. His mustache was lined slightly at the lip line, but the top was left alone, as it is his preference. Except, he has a low drop bald fade instead of a shadow fade with lines. I sculpted his brows and his beard to accentuate his facial features. This haircut did not have any enhancements. This cut was actually for the man's wedding.
